Stadler Deutschland is responsible for marketing in Germany, as well as for exporting tram and city rail vehicles around the world. Stadler has a workforce of around 1300 in Germany.
Stadler Deutschland is the competence centre for the development of tram and city rail vehicles, as well as of metro vehicles. All the products from the product portfolio for the German market, as well as tram and urban rail cars for export are developed, manufactured and assembled in Berlin-Pankow. Stadler Deutschland GmbH was formed in 2000 as a joint venture with Adtranz. In June 2001, Stadler took over Stadler Deutschland GmbH in its entirety.
Stadler Deutschland includes one external site: the Velten Service and Commissioning Centre in Brandenburg.
Velten Service and Commissioning Centre, Germany
The Velten Service Centre in Brandenburg is the competence centre for the acceptance testing and commissioning of the rolling stock. The direct connection to the test track at Hennigsdorf/Velten enables test runs to be performed at up to 120 km/h. Furthermore, service and testing work is conducted in Velten.
