Investing in a Swiss success story

Stadler has grown from a small business with 18 employees into an international company with around 14,500 employees.

We do our utmost to produce the best rail vehicles in the world: every day, we go about our work with passion to ensure that people can travel sustainably and to design innovative solutions for future generations. In our three business divisions, Rolling Stock, Service & Components and Signalling, we create solutions that exceed our customers’ expectations. As well as striving to expand the service business, we are focussing on the further development of the Signalling division.

Entrepreneurial thinking and action – a recipe for success

Our commitment and our entrepreneurial approach have significantly shaped and accelerated Stadler’s success. We now have 16 Production and Component plants, five Engineering locations and over 80 Service locations worldwide. We identify the opportunities behind every challenge and develop sustainable mobility solutions in close cooperation with our stakeholders.

Our strength in the market has earned us a multi-year order backlog. This testifies to our customers’ great confidence in our capabilities and to the robustness and viability of our company. The exceptional on-time delivery rate of 98% illustrates our reliability and efficiency. Our activities in the digital signalling area further strengthen our position and form a solid basis for future growth. Integrated digital solutions that make use of advanced technologies help to increase efficiency and safety in rail transport.

We are in the fortunate position of being able to develop and build a product that is sustainable and environmentally friendly. Measured in terms of emissions per passenger kilometre, rail is one of the most environmentally friendly means of transport of all. Stadler operates in a dynamically growing market and can benefit disproportionately and sustainably from this growth thanks to its leading position as a driver of innovation.

Corporate Governance

As a globally active company, Stadler strives for sustainable growth. In doing so, we set ourselves high standards in the area of corporate governance. We communicate openly with all our stakeholders.
