Stadler LAB: Training centre for future-oriented apprenticeships

In summer 2023, Stadler opened the doors of its new training centre in Bussnang to its apprentices. Known as the LAB (“learner training and laboratory”), the centre is run by  Lorenz Klopfstein and Rafael Gämperli, who are responsible for vocational training. We had the chance to talk to them, and they gave us  an insight into what it’s all about and the wide range of training opportunities that Stadler offers its young talent.

Hello Lorenz Klopfstein and Rafael Gämperli, thank you very much for speaking to us. Could you please briefly introduce yourselves?

Lorenz: Hello. We are Lorenz Klopfstein and Rafael Gämperli and we both manage the vocational training department at Stadler in Bussnang, which covers our apprenticeship schemes.
