ECM in more detail
Stadler fulfils the high requirements and is certified according to the new European regulation and can act as an ECM, Entity in Charge of Maintenance.

ECM is divided into four functions:
ECM 1: Management function
The main task is to implement the maintenance management system and to oversee, coordinate and monitor the individual functions.
ECM 2: Maintenance development function
Takes on responsibility for the management and development of maintenance documents based on design and operational data and for the development of maintenance programmes.
ECM 3: Fleet maintenance management function
Plans and arranges the logistics of rail vehicles for maintenance and recommissioning after maintenance.
ECM 4: Maintenance delivery function
Provides technical maintenance of rail vehicles or parts of vehicles, including documentation and operational approval.
