1942
Ernst Stadler founds an engineering office in Zurich in 1942 and converts trams and small rolling stock to battery operation. When Peter Spuhler takes over Stadler in 1989, the company has 18 employees.
2023
With around 14 500 employees at 16 production and component locations, as well as over 80 service locations, Stadler works day and night for environmentally friendly and comfortable mobility by rail.
