Based in Środa Wielkopolska (Poland), Stadler Środa specialises in the construction and painting of steel bodies for trams. It employs over 250 people. Together with Stadler Polska, Stadler Środa takes part in tenders for the supply of new trams on the Polish and other markets.
The company started its operations on 1 April 2017 as a joint venture Solaris Tram. The former joint venture has been fully owned by Stadler since November 2018.
